NHPC Limited, recognized as a Navratna company by the Indian Government, has once again been awarded the Great Place To Work Certification™ for the period from January 2026 to January 2027. This marks the second year in a row that NHPC has received this honor, with an even higher Trust Index Score than the year before. Great Place To Work, an international authority on workplace culture, bases its certification on a stringent evaluation process that involves detailed employee feedback and an examination of organizational practices covering five core dimensions: Credibility, Respect, Fairness, Pride, and Camaraderie.
Celebrating this achievement, Shri Bhupender Gupta, the Chairman and Managing Director of NHPC, extended his congratulations to the entire team at NHPC. He highlighted the valuable insights gained from the feedback during the certification process and urged for ongoing efforts to enhance the company’s work environment even further.
The certification from Great Place To Work underscores NHPC’s commitment to creating a workplace environment that values trust, respect, and dignity, alongside promoting inclusivity and appreciation. Over its more than fifty-year history, NHPC has successfully maintained a positive work atmosphere that accommodates a diverse workforce, characterized by varied geographical, linguistic, cultural, and social backgrounds. This is reflected in the high participation rate in the survey, with 88% of employees across various levels expressing their engagement and confidence in the company’s leadership and practices.
