OIL Declares Rs.7 Dividend Amid Q3FY26 Financial Stability

OIL Declares Rs.7 Dividend Amid Q3FY26 Financial Stability

In its 577th board meeting conducted in Noida on February 10, 2026, Oil India Limited, a prestigious Maharatna company under the Government of India, announced its financial outcomes for the third quarter of fiscal year 2026. The company reported maintaining a consolidated Profit After Tax (PAT) of ₹1,436 crore for Q3FY26, slightly down from ₹1,457 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. Over the nine-month period ending December 31, 2025, the consolidated PAT stood at ₹5,126 crore compared to ₹5,543 crore in the same period last year. A notable decrease in standalone PAT to ₹808 crore in Q3FY26 from ₹1,222 crore in Q3FY25 was attributed to a significant 15% decrease in crude oil prices, from USD 73.82 per barrel to USD 62.84 per barrel.

Additionally, the Board of Directors approved a second interim dividend of ₹7.00 per fully paid share, following a first interim dividend of ₹3.50 per share earlier in the fiscal year.

In its ongoing commitment to bolster national energy security, Oil India reported that it produced 1.659 million metric tons of oil equivalent (MMTOE) from its aging oilfields in the third quarter of FY26, a slight reduction from 1.697 MMTOE in the same quarter the previous year. Notably, the company achieved a record daily crude oil production of 9,861 metric tons on December 31, 2025, marking the highest output in the past ten years.

The company’s key subsidiary, Numaligarh Refinery Limited (NRL), marked a significant achievement with a 125% increase in Profit After Tax, which surged to ₹867 crore in Q3FY26 from ₹385 crore in Q3FY25. This financial upturn was accompanied by a Gross Refining Margin (GRM) of $16.27 per barrel. Reflecting its robust financial health and significant contribution to India’s energy sector, NRL was awarded the prestigious ‘Navratna’ status during the quarter.
