RHPCL (A Joint Venture of NHPC Limited and JKSPDC Limited) has Awarded the work for “Turnkey execution of 850 MW Ratle Hydroelectric Project located at Kishtwar district in the UT of J&K, India” to M/s Megha Engineering & Infrastructures Limited at a composite contract price of INR 3485.13 Crore. The Project comprises of 133 m high Concrete Gravity Dam and an underground Powerhouse having 4 units of 205 MW and 1 unit of 30 MW (for continuous release of stipulated Environmental flow). The Project will generate annual design energy of 3136 Million Units and will bring overall prosperity to J&K.
