Shalini Verma’s Appointment as BPCL CVO
The approval places Verma in the CVO post at BPCL, the Mumbai-based corporation identified in the appointment memorandum. Her appointment is linked to the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas. The order specifies that the three-year period will begin on the date she assumes charge, rather than on the date of the approval. It also states that the tenure may end earlier if further orders are issued. The memorandum sets the terms of the appointment, including the post, organisation, ministry, pay level and duration.

BPCL CVO Pay and Three-Year Tenure
The approved remuneration is Level 14 of the pay matrix, with a stated range of Rs. 1,44,200 to Rs. 2,18,200. The initial tenure is three years from assumption of charge, subject to the provision that it will continue only until further orders if that occurs earlier. The memorandum therefore identifies both the scheduled initial duration and the condition that can bring the appointment to an earlier close. It does not set a separate calendar end date for the tenure.

Verma’s appointment brings together the role of CVO, BPCL’s Mumbai location and the terms approved by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet. The three-year initial period will run from the day she takes charge, with the further-orders provision applying as specified in the memorandum. The pay level and range are also set out in the decision. These details form the stated basis of Shalini Verma’s appointment as BPCL CVO.
