With a capacity of processing 9 MMTPA (Million Metric Tonnes Per Annum) of Crude it will produce 2.4 MMTPA of Petrochemicals also. A joint venture between Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL, 74%) and the Government of Rajasthan (26%), it is of great national significance. The Refinery is designed to produce advanced, BS-VI Compliant Fuels and reduce import dependency on Petrochemicals.
