The Housing and Urban Development Corporation Ltd. (HUDCO) recently celebrated its annual sports day at Thyagaraj Stadium in New Delhi, creating a vibrant atmosphere of physical fitness, unity, and sportsmanship for employees and their families.
The event was inaugurated with a festive balloon release by Shri Sanjay Kulshrestha, the Chairman and Managing Director of HUDCO, who was joined by other key executives, including Directors and the Chief Vigilance Officer. This gesture set the tone for a day marked by zeal, teamwork, and enthusiasm.
In line with its commitment to corporate social responsibility, HUDCO supports budding athletes through the Target Olympic Podium Scheme administered by the Sports Authority of India. The sports day was further highlighted by the appearance of two notable athletes from this program, Nisha Dahiya and Sachin Yadav. Their presence added a layer of inspiration as they mingled with the attendees, sharing valuable experiences from their athletic careers and stressing the importance of discipline and dedicated fitness routines.
