## NTPC Launches Three-Month Vigilance Awareness Campaign 2026 in New Delhi
NTPC Limited has set the stage for a focused integrity drive with the launch of its three-month Vigilance Awareness Campaign 2026 at Scope Complex, New Delhi. The campaign, inaugurated on 24th August 2026 by Rashmita Jha, IRS, Chief Vigilance Officer, will run from 17th August to 16th November 2026 as a lead-up to Vigilance Awareness Week 2026.
Carrying the theme “Probity for Prosperity,” the initiative will centre on five priority areas identified by the Central Vigilance Commission: clearing pending complaints, resolving pending cases, strengthening capacity-building programmes, advancing digital initiatives and improving contract management.
During the launch, the CVO introduced the revamped Corporate Vigilance Intranet page , marking a digital step in NTPC’s vigilance outreach. She called on vigilance officials to expand the scale, quality and influence of preventive vigilance efforts through more meaningful outreach during the campaign.
A key highlight this year is the wider rollout of the “VAW Volunteer” initiative, with particular attention on involving women from Self-Help Groups. The campaign aims to move beyond routine awareness activity by encouraging participative, interactive and sustained engagement with stakeholders.
Rashmita Jha expressed confidence that the initiative would deepen NTPC’s commitment to integrity, transparency and probity across the organisation.
Addressing Vigilance Executives, G. Raja Shekhar, Head of Vigilance, urged them to demonstrate ethical conduct and integrity in action, positioning themselves as the campaign’s flag-bearers across their respective projects.
