Breaking news from the Ministry of PNG – a long-awaited appointment to the PNGRB has finally been announced. The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet, following the recommendation of the Search-cum-Selection Committee, has given the green light to the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas’s proposal.
Shri Jayanta Narayan Das, Chief General Manager (Telecom) at Indradhanush Gas Grid Ltd., has been appointed as a Member of the Petroleum & Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB).
Das will receive a consolidated pay package of Rs. 5.00 lakh per month (excluding house and car) for a term of 5 years from the date of assuming office, until reaching the age of 65, or until further notice.
