NMDC Limited began Vigilance Awareness Week 2026 at its head office in Hyderabad on 26 October, with Director (Technical) Shri Vinay Kumar administering the Integrity Pledge to officials and employees. This year’s theme is “Probity for Prosperity” (“सत्यनिष्ठा से समृद्धि”).
The pledge reaffirmed the organisation’s stated commitment to integrity, transparency and accountability in its operations. Similar pledge-taking activities were also conducted by the respective Heads of Projects at NMDC’s project units.
Messages and employee activities
During the Hyderabad programme, senior officials read messages from the President, Vice-President and Prime Minister of India. The Chief Vigilance Officer read a message from the Central Vigilance Commission.
NMDC is organising essay-writing, quiz and elocution competitions for employees and other stakeholders as part of the observance. A “Run for Integrity” is also planned to mark the birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, promoting the values of unity, integrity and public service.
Week-long observance to conclude with awards
The week-long programme will conclude with a valedictory function, where winners of competitions conducted during the campaign will be felicitated.
