New Delhi: An agreement has been signed by Oil India Limited (OIL) and GAIL (India) Limited, two prominent Maharatna CPSEs, falling under the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas.

The agreement extends the current Gas Sale and Purchase Agreement for another 15 years, commencing on 1st July 2025. It entails the supply of up to 900,000 Standard Cubic Meters per Day (SCMD) of natural gas from OIL’s Rajasthan Gas Fields.

The signing ceremony took place at GAIL’s Corporate Office in New Delhi, where the agreement was executed by Shri Ranjan Goswami, ED (BD) from OIL, and Shri Sumit Kishore, ED (Gas Marketing) from GAIL.
