POWERGRID has revealed a strong operating position, supported by large-scale transmission infrastructure and high system availability.
As of 31st July 2026, POWERGRID had commissioned and was operating 292 sub-stations, along with **more than 186,889 ckm transmission lines** and **6,37,016 MVA transformation capacity.
The company also highlighted its use of the latest technological tools and techniques, with greater focus on automation and digital solutions. This approach has helped POWERGRID maintain an average **transmission system availability of more than 99.81%.
With substantial transformation capacity, an extensive transmission line base and enhanced digital adoption, POWERGRID continues to underline its operational strength.
