When the Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh, Mr. Pema Khandu, got to know about this, he praised Mr. Singh for his dedication. Sh Pema Khandu, CM , Arunachal Pradesh carried out a detailed inspection of Dibang Project on 01.09.2025 and appreciated the progress of project and motivated the NHPC employees and labourers involved in the project execution.
Let your readers know that NHPC is developing a multi-project of 2880 MW in Arunachal Pradesh, with 15% of the work already completed, and the project is expected to be completed by 2032. Arunachal Pradesh will receive 12% royalty and 1% local area development from this project.
Upon completion of this project, Arunachal Pradesh stands to benefit approximately 600 crore rupees annually towards royalty. This news surely adds an interesting twist to the development scenario in Arunachal Pradesh, showcasing the dedication and commitment of officials like Mr. Sanjay Singh and team NHPC towards the state’s progress in particular and development of clean energy as a whole in National interest.
