BPCL connects football sponsorship with athlete support
Kolkata, October 4, 2026: Young athletes are central to how Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) describes its support for sport. BPCL says its sponsorship of India’s football fixtures against Brazil and Uruguay in Kolkata forms part of that wider activity.

The company said its BPCL Sports Scholarship Initiative is intended to give promising athletes financial assistance for training and competition. Its statement also identifies support for Team India at the 20th Asian Games and sponsorship of the Commonwealth Games 2026.
