Bharat Vandana Park Transformation: DDA & NBCC Lead Way

DDA and NBCC Strengthen Collaboration on Bharat Vandana Park Project in Dwarka

The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) and NBCC (India) Limited have enhanced their partnership with the signing of a new Supplementary Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on January 30, 2026. This agreement reaffirms NBCC’s role as the Project Management Consultant (PMC) for the ongoing development of Bharat Vandana Park, located in Sector-20, Dwarka.

With this updated MoU, NBCC’s responsibilities have expanded to include the interim operations and maintenance (O&M) of the park. This includes selecting and integrating a specialized O&M agency to facilitate the park’s phased public opening. For the first two years following the agency’s incorporation, NBCC will oversee the implementation, which encompasses a one-year defect liability period. This initiative is aimed at maintaining the quality, safety, and sustainability of the park’s facilities.

The agreement highlights DDA and NBCC’s mutual commitment to creating a top-tier urban green space. The project aims to offer superior visitor facilities, stringent safety protocols, and effective management operations. This ongoing cooperation underscores both entities’ dedication to completing the remaining developmental phases promptly while upholding high public infrastructure standards.

Bharat Vandana Park is set to become a distinguished recreational and cultural hub that celebrates India’s rich diversity and provides a premium experience for both residents and tourists. The strengthened partnership between DDA and NBCC is a crucial move towards achieving these objectives and ensuring the park’s excellence in operations over the long term.

  • Reaffirmation of NBCC’s role as PMC
  • Expansion of NBCC’s duties to include interim operations and maintenance
  • Focus on high standards for safety, quality, and sustainability
  • Commitment to timely completion of the development phases
  • Enhancement of visitor experience and operational management

This strategic extension of the MoU between DDA and NBCC marks a significant milestone in the development of Bharat Vandana Park as a beacon of cultural pride and recreational excellence.
