NBCC-MoHUA MoU Brings FY 2026-27 Targets Into Focus

New Delhi: 1-Oct.2026: A new set of performance benchmarks has emerged for NBCC (India) Ltd., placing its financial and operational targets for the current fiscal year under closer attention.

The Navratna CPSE signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs on 30 September 2026. The document outlines the milestones NBCC is expected to pursue during FY 2026-27.

D. Thara, IAS, Secretary (CD), signed the MoU on behalf of the ministry. NBCC Chairman and Managing Director Dr. K.P. Mahadevaswamy represented the company.

The performance framework covers financial and operational parameters. However, the source did not disclose numerical targets or provide a detailed breakdown of the milestones.

Officials present at the signing included Ravi Kumar Arora, IAS, Joint Secretary (Land & Estates); Sanjeet, IRAS, Joint Secretary and Financial Advisor, MoHUA; and Sandeep Kulharia, IRSME, Director (Estate), MoHUA.

NBCC was represented by Suman Kumar, Director (Commercial); Anjeev Kumar Jain, Director (Finance); and M.B. Singhal, Executive Director (Finance), along with other officials.

The agreement follows NBCC’s reported receipt of an “Excellent” rating from the Department of Public Enterprises for its performance under the FY 2024-25 annual MoU.

The source also described NBCC’s FY 2026-27 financial results as robust and referred to achievements in key physical parameters, but it did not provide supporting figures.

NBCC’s reported DPE rating for FY 2024-25 forms the immediate performance context for the latest MoU. The new document sets out the company’s financial and operational objectives for FY 2026-27.
