RISIKESH; THDC India Limited and UJVNL’s joint venture, THDCIL-UJVNL Energy Company Limited, secured a 1719 MW clean energy portfolio, granted by Uttarakhand’s Hon’ble Chief Minister, Sh. Pushkar Singh Dhami. Projects like Mori Hanol, Urthing Sobla, Bogudiyar Sarkari Bhyol, Pungarh-Matiyala Pump Storage, and Jaspalgarh Pump Storage, received formal allotment letters. Sh. Bhupender Gupta, THDC’s Director(Technical), received these letters, marking a milestone in the ₹17,000 crores investment initiative. Upon completion, these projects will generate 1719 MW clean energy, creating 900 jobs.
The announcement underscores THDCIL and UJVNL’s commitment to fortify the nation’s energy sector, aligning with global net-zero emission goals and advancing sustainable energy solutions.
