In a strategic move to bolster leadership skills within India’s public sector, the Standing Conference of Public Enterprises (SCOPE), headed by Mr. Atul Sobti, has entered into a significant partnership with the International Coaching Federation (ICF) represented by its Vice President, Mr. Steve Weiss. This collaboration is anchored by a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at enhancing the effectiveness of coaching as a pivotal tool for organizational development and human capital enhancement in public enterprises.
The initiative between SCOPE, the premier representative body for Public Sector Enterprises in India, and ICF, a global leader in coaching profession advocacy, will focus on conducting a comprehensive study to assess the current landscape of coaching in India. The findings will inform the creation of specialized leadership resources and the establishment of robust internal coaching frameworks tailored for the corporate environment. This alliance is particularly geared towards elevating the standards of leadership to meet ICF’s esteemed benchmarks in coaching excellence.
