Gurugram : REC Limited, a Maharatna Central Public Sector Enterprise, marked a significant development with the foundation stone laid for a residential complex in Gurugram for its employees.
The ceremony was officiated by Union Minister for Power and New & Renewable Energy, Shri R. K. Singh. Emphasizing REC’s pivotal role in revitalizing the power sector, the Minister highlighted its contribution to making the system financially sustainable. 
Discussing the imperative for growth, he stated that a viable power system is integral to achieving a 7.5% economic growth, stressing the need for continued investment and REC’s crucial role in mobilizing funds for the sector’s expansion.
