REC and JNPA Join Forces for Rs. 45,000 Cr Infrastructure Boost
In a significant move to turbocharge India’s infrastructure growth, REC Limited and Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority (JNPA) have inked a landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The pact, signed in the presence of Union Minister Shri Sarbananda Sonowal, paves the way for financing up to Rs. 45,000 crore for JNPA’s ambitious projects, including the development of Vadhavan Port.
Strategic Partnership
The MoU marks a strategic partnership between REC, a leading NBFC and Maharatna PSU under the Ministry of Power, and JNPA, a premier container handling port. By combining their expertise, the two entities aim to drive growth in the infrastructure sector and bolster India’s maritime trade.
