HYDERABAD, 17 September 2026: NMDC Limited’s Vigilance Department co-hosted the CVC Training of Trainers Programme in Hyderabad on 17 September 2026 to train South Zone vigilance officers on the Master Circulars and Vigilance Manual 2026 and improve uniformity in vigilance practices.
The programme strengthened awareness of the revised vigilance framework among public sector organisations in the South Zone. It helped officers understand updated provisions, assess their administrative implications and apply CVC guidance more consistently in vigilance functions.
Conducted by the Central Vigilance Commission, the training focused on “Master Circulars and Vigilance Manual 2026.” About 75 vigilance officers and organisational representatives attended. CVC speakers presented an overview of the Vigilance Manual 2026 and explained major changes affecting vigilance administration.
The speakers also covered the recently issued CVC Master Circulars, including their important provisions and practical use. Participants raised queries during the sessions, and experts responded with clarifications based on the updated framework.
Chief Guest Shri Praveen Kumar Sinha, Former Special Director, CBI, addressed the programme virtually. He emphasised the significance of the CVC Master Circulars and the need to revise the Vigilance Manual. He also underlined staff rotation in sensitive posts as a preventive vigilance practice.
Senior officials present included Shri Rajiv Verma, Consultant, CVC; Shri Ajai Kumar Verma, Director, CVC; and Shri Arvind Kumar, OSD, CVC. The event also saw participation from Ms. Spurthi Reddy, CVO, MIDHANI and BDL; Shri P. Krishna Kumar, CVO, ECIL; and Shri C. Neelakanta Reddy, CVO, NMDC Limited.

The Head of Department, Vigilance, expressed gratitude to the speakers and participants, noting their contribution to an interactive and informative programme. The event served as a platform for knowledge sharing, capacity building and dissemination of the updated manual and circulars.
The programme ended with the National Anthem and the National Song.
