Mumbai: Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), a prominent player in the oil and gas sector, has disclosed its financial performance highlighting that exports account for 1.39% of its total turnover. The company’s overall turnover reached INR 5,22,668.25 crore, with export sales contributing INR 7,256.79 crore.
BPCL caters to a diverse clientele, ranging from individual retail consumers to large institutional buyers. The company’s infrastructure includes a vast array of retail outlets, LPG distributorships, and lubricant distribution channels. Additionally, it operates Aviation Fuelling Stations (AFS) and City Gas Distribution (CGD) networks, ensuring reliable delivery of energy products and services.
The corporation also fulfills the substantial energy demands of bulk consumers such as the Defense Forces, Indian Railways, state government entities, state transport services, airlines, and power generation companies. This strategic dual approach allows BPCL to effectively meet the varied energy requirements of both the public and industrial sectors across India.
