GAIL (India) Limited Reports Strong Financial Performance in Q1 FY-26

New Delhi, 28th July, 2025: GAIL (India) Limited has announced its financial results for the first quarter of the fiscal year 2026, showcasing a robust performance amid challenging market conditions.

Key Financial Highlights:

  • Revenue from Operations: ₹34,792 crore in Q1 FY-26, up from ₹33,692 crore in Q1 FY-25
  • Profit before Tax (PBT): ₹2,533 crore in Q1 FY-26, compared to ₹3,642 crore in Q1 FY-25
  • Profit after Tax (PAT): ₹1,886 crore in Q1 FY-26, down from ₹2,724 crore in Q1 FY-25

Despite a slight decrease in PAT, GAIL maintained a strong financial position in the first quarter. The company reported Revenue from Operations of ₹34,792 crore, slightly lower than the previous quarter but still a solid performance.

Consolidated Performance:

  • Revenue from Operations: ₹35,429 crore in Q1 FY-26, compared to ₹36,551 crore in Q4 FY-25
  • PBT: ₹3,029 crore in Q1 FY-26, down from ₹3,240 crore in Q4 FY-25
  • PAT (excluding Non-controlling interest): ₹2,369 crore in Q1 FY-26, compared to ₹2,492 crore in Q4 FY-25

Shri Sandeep Kumar Gupta, Chairman & Managing Director of GAIL, highlighted the company’s capital expenditure of approximately ₹3,176 crore in the quarter, focusing on key areas such as Pipelines, Petrochemicals, and Equity contributions to Joint Ventures.

Furthermore, GAIL received authorization from PNGRB for the expansion of the Jamnagar-Loni LPG pipeline capacity, a strategic move expected to reduce CO₂ emissions, enhance safety, and operational efficiency.

In recognition of its commitment to sustainability and strong Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) performance, GAIL has been included in the prestigious FTSE4Good Index series for the 7th consecutive year.
