EIL Defines Excellence at IEW 2026 in Goa

Goa, January 27, 2026: The Advanced Training Institute (ATI) of ONGC in Goa proudly hosted the opening ceremony of the 4th India Energy Week (IEW) 2026, marking it as a premier international energy sector gathering. This year’s venue showcased impressive infrastructure, demonstrating India’s enhanced role and reputation in the global energy sector.

During the opening speech, the Prime Minister of India described IEW 2026 as more than just a conference. He portrayed it as a vital international forum that brings together global leaders, policymakers, and innovators to forge the future of energy. He further emphasized India’s pivotal role in fostering global energy transitions through increased cooperation, innovation, and expansive projects.

The Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas also spoke at the event, commending the rapid and high-quality construction of the facilities specifically for IEW 2026. He praised the project as a testament to India’s ability to execute large-scale infrastructure projects swiftly and effectively.

The responsibility for the swift construction of the venue was given to Engineers India Limited (EIL), a top engineering consultancy firm. Despite a challenging nine-month deadline, EIL managed to deliver a comprehensive convention setup, establishing a new standard for excellence in project execution for global events.

The infrastructure developed by EIL for IEW 2026 includes: • “Prithvi” Convention Centre • “Aakash” Management Development Facility • “Vayu” Exhibition Hall • A Utility Building and additional supportive structures

These components collectively form a state-of-the-art, efficient venue capable of facilitating significant international discussions and exhibitions.

The Chairperson and Managing Director of EIL, Ms. Vartika Shukla, expressed pride in the project’s completion, which she believes reflects EIL’s commitment to exceptional engineering and project management. She noted that this achievement not only aligns with the Prime Minister’s vision of transforming local strengths into global benchmarks but also solidifies EIL’s reputation as a leader in delivering sophisticated infrastructure projects internationally.

The successful setup of IEW 2026’s infrastructure serves as a potent symbol of India’s engineering prowess, collaborative spirit, and its strategic readiness to lead and host global dialogues about the future of energy.
