REC Powers Ahead: Hands Over Tumkur-II REZ Power Transmission Project to G.R. Infraprojects

Gurugram: REC Power Development and Consultancy Limited (RECPDCL), a wholly-owned subsidiary of REC Limited, has taken a significant step forward in strengthening India’s power transmission infrastructure. The company has handed over the Tumkur-II REZ Power Transmission Limited project to M/s G.R. Infraprojects Limited (GRIL), marking a major milestone in the project’s development.

The project, awarded to GRIL through a Tariff-based Competitive Bidding (TBCB) process, involves the establishment of a 400/220 kV pooling station and a 27.2 km long 400 kV transmission line. With this handover, RECPDCL has demonstrated its commitment to facilitating the growth of India’s power sector through collaborative efforts.

Implementation Timeline:

The project is slated for completion within 24 months, aligning with the government’s vision of a robust and efficient energy infrastructure.
