NEEPCO, a key collaborator in the initiative, has played a pivotal role in supporting the Hepatitis B mass vaccination drive that was recently launched with great enthusiasm in Mechukha.
Spearheaded by Shri PD Sona, the esteemed Minister of Education, RWD, Tourism, Parliamentary Affairs, and Library, the event marked a significant milestone in the healthcare sector of Shi Yomi district, Arunachal Pradesh.
The Health Department of Shi Yomi district, in alignment with the ‘one district one health’ theme, has orchestrated this ambitious vaccination campaign in partnership with NEEPCO under the CD Scheme.
Heads up!
Do you know, What Major General Rajesh Kumar Jha has said in his address at IIM Shillong ? Click here…
This program aims to reach the far-flung villages nestled within the three circles of Shi Yomi – Mechukha, Tato, and Monigong, situated in the remote areas bordering Indo-China. The drive is set to benefit over 7500 villagers through a comprehensive outreach program that will span more than six months to ensure maximum coverage and impact.
Once the vaccination campaign achieves its intended targets, it is expected to significantly enhance the health profile of the district by curbing the prevalence of endemic diseases.
The residents of Shi Yomi are wholeheartedly embracing this noble endeavor and are full of gratitude for NEEPCO’s altruistic service to the community.
This commendable collaboration between the government authorities and NEEPCO stands as a beacon of hope for improved public health outcomes in Shi Yomi district, setting a positive precedent for proactive healthcare interventions in the region.
