The candidates, each a titan in their own right, represent a blend of profound expertise and diverse experience across the energy sector.

Among the shortlisted are Shri Akhilesh Pathak and Shri Alok Kumar Sharma, both currently serving as Executive Directors at Power Grid. They are joined by Smt. Ragini Advani, Director of Finance at IRCON International Limited, and Shri L.K. Khaj Kumar, who oversees the CMD Cell Corporate Planning at Power Grid.

Also in the running are Shri Pankaj Kumar Sharma, Director of Production at National Aluminium Company Limited, and Shri Pankaj Pandey, Executive Director (TBCB) at Power Grid. Not to be overlooked, Shri Rajesh Kumar Singh brings his experience as the current CMD of Bridge and Roof Company (India) Limited, along with Shri Rajil Srivastava, Executive Director of Asset Management at Power Grid.
