He expressed confidence that India has abundant resources and is fully committed to global sustainability, opening up new possibilities for the future. “Our target is to achieve net-zero emissions by 2030. It may sound ambitious, but given the progress we’ve made in the last ten years, it’s clear that we will achieve this goal ahead of time,” the Prime Minister stated.

Praising India’s growing biofuel industry, PM Modi cited ethanol blending as a key success story. “Today, our biofuel industry is advancing rapidly and is poised to reach new heights,” he added.

Under the Open Acreage Licensing (OAL) Policy, India has introduced a single-window system to facilitate multiple services for stakeholders. With the discovery of new natural gas reserves, the country’s gas supply is growing steadily, attracting more investment opportunities.

The Prime Minister highlighted the immense potential in local manufacturing and storage capacity. He mentioned that custom duty exemptions have boosted the development of non-lithium batteries. “We need to accelerate our efforts in the battery and storage sector to strengthen our energy security,” he said.

PM Modi emphasized that India’s energy sector is powered by its people.
