On August 12, 2026, Petronet LNG Limited (PLL) successfully conducted its second annual Finance & IT conference named “Catalyst” at its headquarters in New Delhi. Held over the course of August 7-8, this event aimed to ignite innovative thinking, enhance cooperative efforts, and facilitate significant organizational changes.
The gathering spanned two days and united Finance and IT specialists from various PLL offices. These professionals engaged in deep-dive discussions, shared their expertise, and participated in dynamic workshops led by industry experts.
During the conference, Sh. Saurav Mitra, Director (Finance) & CFO of PLL, shared his insights on the objective of the Catalyst meet. He articulated that the initiative is part of PLL’s ongoing mission to become a more dynamic, technologically advanced, and proactive enterprise. As PLL continues to expand and branch out, it is critical for the Finance department to adapt and advance, leveraging technology to bolster growth, enhance governance, and facilitate rapid, well-informed decision-making processes.
Mitra highlighted six strategic priorities essential for future phases, including automation, integration, real-time analytics, digitization, cybersecurity, and skill development. He stressed that continuous improvements in these areas are crucial for the Finance function to significantly contribute to PLL’s broader strategic goals and organizational change.
The event was also noted for its environmental consciousness, being recognized as carbon neutral. This characteristic underscored PLL’s commitment not only to refining operational efficiencies but also to embedding sustainable practices into the core of its digital transformation efforts.
