Inauguration of Mega Health Care Camp by  Dr. Jitendra Singh & A.K.Singh, CMD-NHPC

Dr. Jitendra Singh, Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) and Shri A.K.Singh, CMD, NHPC inaugurated the Mega Health Care Camp organized by NHPC Ltd. on 09.10.2021 under its CSR scheme at various remote villages of Doda district. These Mega Health Care Camps are being organized in association with NGO – Sahara Health and Development Society under the Corporate Social Responsibility Scheme of NHPC. These Camps will continue till January 2022 and about 3000 local people of 20 far flung villages under 04 blocks area of Doda district shall get benefitted. There shall be a general Health Check up in these camps. If any disease is found in this sequence, then it will be referred for further treatment. First of all, Shri A.K.Singh, CMD, NHPC presented a shawl and a bunch of flowers to Hon’ble Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) Dr. Jitendra Singh and welcomed him in the function. Addressing the function, Shri A.K.Singh said that NHPC through its CSR activities is running many welfare schemes for the welfare of the people.Welfare work is being done through CSR in the field of health, education and infrastructure. These health care camps are being organized under the guidance of the Hon’ble Union Minister of State (Independent Charge). This is a strong step taken in building a healthy India. After this, in his address, Hon’ble Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) Dr. Jitendra Singh while addressing the large gathering said that the government is sensitive towards the health of the people. The Fit India campaign is going on. People are being made health conscious. In this sequence, today all of us have become the part of this health camp. Health check-up of people is being done through this camp. This test will be helpful in achieving their good health. He also spoke about the ongoing projects of NHPC in UT of J&K and said that in the coming time, J&K is going to become a power hub of power generation with the completion of these projects. The projects is providing employment to the local and will lead to the development of the area. He appreciated the work being done by NHPC.
