Faridabad:NHPC marked the 75th Republic Day with fervor, as Shri R.P. Goyal, Director (Finance), hoisted the National Flag at NHPC Corporate Office, Faridabad. Directors Shri Uttam Lal and Shri R.K. Chaudhary, alongside senior NHPC officers, employees, and families, joined the celebration. Goyal, in his address, extended Republic Day greetings, emphasizing India’s democratic values since 1950. Recognizing NHPC as a key player in hydropower, he highlighted its 15% share in the country’s total capacity and the ongoing construction of 52% of hydropower projects nationwide. Goyal urged NHPC employees to work diligently, announcing upcoming projects for the financial year 2024-25.
