NBCC (India) Limited, a distinguished Navratna CPSE under the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, proudly announces its collaboration with the Government of the Republic of Seychelles. This partnership celebrates the initiation of the Île Aurore Housing Project, a significant venture set to construct 1008 affordable housing units complemented by top-notch infrastructure in Seychelles.
The pivotal agreement was signed in a prestigious ceremony on July 29, witnessed by notable figures including H.E. Sebastien Pillay, Vice President of the Republic of Seychelles, and Dr. K. P. Mahadevaswamy, Chairman & Managing Director of NBCC (India) Limited. Formalizing the agreement were Mr. Joseph Francois, Secretary of State for Lands, Housing and Infrastructure in Seychelles, and Mr. Pradeep Sharma, Executive Director (Engineering) at NBCC (India) Limited.
Funded by a USD 75 million Line of Credit from the Export-Import Bank of India, the project not only aims to elevate living standards but also promotes sustainable urban growth. Essential infrastructure enhancements including a dedicated Sewage Treatment Plant are part of the project’s scope, ensuring the sustainability and modernity of community living on Île Aurore.
This endeavor not only marks a significant expansion in NBCC’s international portfolio but also highlights its proficiency in executing substantial housing and infrastructure projects. Furthermore, this project exemplifies NBCC’s dedication to fostering India’s international development partnerships by providing superior infrastructure solutions overseas.
