New Delhi, April 24, 2025: The Appointment Cabinet Committee has approved the appointment of Amit Sharma (IRS) as the Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) of National Fertiliser Ltd (NFL) on lateral deputation. The decision was made following Sharma’s completion of a five-year tenure with the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD).
Sharma’s appointment has been sanctioned for an additional two-year term, effective immediately. The move is expected to strengthen oversight and governance at NFL, a key player in the fertiliser sector.
