3-Day Project Management Workshop for PSEs Kicks Off at SCOPE Complex, New Delhi

TPM Workshop Begins at SCOPE Complex in New Delhi

New Delhi: The National Workshop on Totality of Project Management (TPM) — a flagship Project Management Workshop — was inaugurated by Shri Atul Sobti, Director General, SCOPE, at SCOPE Complex, New Delhi, in the presence of Shri Adesh Jain, Chairman, International Institute of Projects and Program Management (i2P2M).

The three-day workshop is being organized by i2P2M in association with SCOPE for Public Sector Enterprises (PSEs). This unique Project Management training program for PSEs brings together over 60 participants from nearly 20 PSEs, along with project management professionals and practitioners, to deliberate on key aspects of Project Planning, Execution and Risk Management.

The program covers critical areas including Project Scope Management, project planning & scheduling, project execution, project delivery, risk assessment, project evaluation, and organizational excellence — essential skills for ensuring project completion and sustainable growth in the Public Sector.

Addressing the participants, Shri Atul Sobti emphasized that beyond scheduling, costing and technical frameworks, the ultimate success of any project rests on the human touch in leadership in project management. He highlighted the importance of empowering people with conviction and passion to achieve results.

In the context of AI in Project Management and the future of project management, he further stressed that in an era of rapid change and artificial intelligence, “lifelong learning — skilling, reskilling, and upskilling — must remain our core mantra” for building future-ready talent.

Such collaborative programs by SCOPE are a step towards strengthening professional capabilities, fostering knowledge-sharing, advancing project management best practices, and advancing SCOPE’s imperative of building a stronger, more efficient and sustainable Public Sector.
