Matthias Thorns, the Vice President and representative of employers at the International Labour Organization (ILO), recently held discussions with Atul Sobti, the Director General of SCOPE and a member of the ILO Governing Body. Accompanied by top executives from SCOPE, the dialogue focused on how Indian employers can actively contribute to global discussions aimed at fostering stable industrial relationships.
The discussions highlighted the importance of collaboration among multiple stakeholders in the modern business environment and stressed the necessity for enhanced participation of employers in ILO activities to promote inclusive economic development, sustainable job creation, and robust industrial relations.
