Praveen Mal Khanooja has been appointed to temporarily lead Engineers India Limited (EIL) as the Chairman and Managing Director (CMD).
Currently, Khanooja is an experienced government official, holding the position of Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas (MoPNG), India.
This interim assignment follows the conclusion of the tenure of the former CMD, Mrs. Vartika Shukla. Although Atul Gupta was recommended for the CMD position by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB), his appointment has not yet been finalized.
