POWERGRID Approves Investment for Three Major Projects

New Delhi:Investment approval for the following projects was granted by the ‘Committee of Directors on Investment on Projects’ of POWERGRID during its meeting held on May 1, 2025:

1 Transmission System Strengthening to Facilitate Evacuation of Power from Bhadla/Bikaner Complex, with an estimated cost of ₹212.81 crore. The project is scheduled to be commissioned within 18 months from the date of allocation, i.e., by June 9, 2026.

NHPC 2 Eastern Region Expansion Scheme-43 (ERES-43), with an estimated cost of ₹342.69 crore. The project is targeted for completion within 18 months (15 months on a best-effort basis) from the date of allocation, i.e., by March 1, 2026.

3 Eastern Region Expansion Scheme-44 (ERES-44), with an estimated cost of ₹408.94 crore. The project is slated for completion within 18 months (15 months on a best-effort basis) from the date of allocation, i.e., by May 24, 2026.
