Gurugram, June 5, 2025: Powergrid Corporation of India Limited (POWERGRID), a leading power transmission company, has announced the commissioning of the “Transmission Network Expansion in Gujarat to Increase ATC from ISTS, Part-C” project, effective from April 3, 2025.
The Notification for Commercial Operation (DOCO) was received on June 5, 2025.
This initiative will significantly enhance the available transfer capacity (ATC) from the Inter-State Transmission System (ISTS), strengthening the regional grid and supporting the integration of clean and renewable energy to meet Gujarat’s growing power demands.
