Shri Srinivas Katikithala, the Secretary of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, recently led the opening ceremony of the modernized corporate headquarters of NBCC (India) Limited, located on Lodhi Road in New Delhi. The event was attended by notable figures including Shri Sanjeet, Joint Secretary & Financial Advisor of MoHUA, Dr. K. P. Mahadevaswamy, CMD of NBCC, Shri Anjeev Kumar Jain, Director (Finance), Smt. Ritu Pande, CVO, along with independent directors and senior executives of the corporation.
The ceremony included traditional cultural elements such as a pooja, lamp lighting, and the unveiling of a commemorative plaque. This was complemented by a tour of the newly refurbished office space and discussions with the top management and staff members.
During the event, Dr. Mahadevaswamy, CMD of NBCC, thanked the chief guest for his insights and underscored NBCC’s dedication to becoming a forward-thinking, people-oriented organization that closely aligns with the strategic objectives of the nation.
The overhaul of the corporate office, which now extends over an area of about 40,000 square feet, is a pivotal development in the evolution of NBCC. This space is now outfitted with state-of-the-art technological enhancements including seamless wireless connectivity, IoT systems, and contemporary charging facilities for electronic devices.
The celebration concluded with a tribute to the workers who played a crucial role in the renovation process and a community feast that acknowledged the successful completion of the project.
Overall, Shri Katikithala praised NBCC for its ongoing commitment to contributing to national development through significant infrastructure and redevelopment initiatives.
