NBCC (India) Limited recently demonstrated its dedication to societal welfare by launching a new ambulance service for the Hanley region in Ladakh as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts. The ceremonial dispatch of the ambulance occurred at the World Trade Centre Nauroji Nagar in New Delhi, with Dr. K. P. Mahadevaswamy, CMD of NBCC, presiding over the event. He was joined by Shri Anjeev Kumar Jain, Director (Finance), and Smt. Ritu Pande, CVO.
The introduction of this ambulance service is crucial for enhancing medical accessibility in Hanley, a region known for its challenging landscape and sparse medical infrastructure. This high-altitude area often faces obstacles in delivering prompt medical care, and with this new ambulance, NBCC aims to provide quicker emergency responses and bolster healthcare delivery to the community.
During the launch, NBCC’s leadership emphasized the company’s intent to forge a positive social impact through its CSR activities. They highlighted their commitment to enhancing healthcare facilities in isolated locations, aiming to elevate the standard of living and ensure that vital health services are available to those in dire need.
