NBCC Commits to Elevating Infrastructure for Viksit Bharat @ 2047 Vision-K.P. Mahadevaswamy

By- Z A Ansari : New Delhi, November 15, 2025 – NBCC (India) Limited marked its 66th Foundation Day with a grand celebration at Bharat Mandapam, showcasing its dedication to spearheading infrastructure development in line with the Viksit Bharat @ 2047 vision.

During the ceremony, the CMD emphasized NBCC’s commitment to achieving new heights in infrastructure development. “Our focus is not only on expanding our footprint across India but also on enhancing the quality of urban life and supporting sustainable development,” said Shri Mahadevaswamy. The event also saw the release of a Coffee Table Book titled “Punah Rachna,” which documents NBCC’s pivotal redevelopment projects that have significantly transformed urban landscapes across the country.

The foundation day event was an opportunity for NBCC to honor its workforce, particularly the shramjeevis or laborers, by felicitating around 30,000 workers who are instrumental in the company’s nationwide projects. This initiative highlighted NBCC’s commitment to the welfare and dignity of its workforce, reinforcing its role as a socially responsible entity.

Messages of congratulations and support were conveyed virtually by prominent figures including Shri Manohar Lal, Hon’ble Union Minister for Housing and Urban Affairs & Power, and Shri Tokhan Sahu, Hon’ble Minister of State, Housing & Urban Affairs. Both ministers lauded NBCC for its substantial contributions to India’s urban development and infrastructure sectors.

Secretary Shri Srinivas Katikithala also praised NBCC for its leadership in the industry and its crucial role in urbanizing rural landscapes, turning them into thriving urban centers. He expressed optimism about NBCC’s future endeavors in enhancing the nation’s infrastructure.

The celebration concluded with cultural performances organized by NBCC’s cultural committee “Umang,” featuring a diverse array of entertainment that included a fashion show and dance performances by employees, capped off with a live concert by renowned music composer and singer Amit Trivedi, which captivated the attendees.

NBCC’s Foundation Day not only celebrated its past achievements but also set a robust roadmap for future projects aimed at supporting the government’s vision of a developed India by 2047.

Mahadevaswamy, CMD, NBCC, Shri Saleem Ahmad, Director (Projects), Dr. Suman Kumar, Director (Commercial), Anjeev Kumar Jain, Director (Finance), Government nominee Directors, Shri Sanjeet and Shri Ravi Kumar Arora, Independent Directors, Prof. Bhimrao Panda Bhosale, Shri Rajeev Kumar, Dr. Deepak Singh, Shri Vishal Puri , Smt.
