A three-month drive aimed at strengthening integrity, transparency and organisational systems has begun at GAIL, with CMD Shri Deepak Gupta calling for active employee participation in the Preventive Vigilance Campaign 2026.
The campaign, being conducted from 17 August to 16 November 2026 ahead of Vigilance Awareness Week 2026, was formally inaugurated on 17 August at GAIL’s Corporate Office by Shri Deepak Gupta, CMD, GAIL.
Shri Ayush Gupta, Director (HR); Shri Sanjay Kumar, Director (Marketing); Shri Rajeev Kumar Singhal, Director (Business Development); Shri S. K. Sinha, Director (Finance); and Shri Rajnesh Singh, Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO), GAIL, along with Executive Directors, Heads of Departments, senior officials and employees from various work centres, participated in the programme through VC.
In his address, Shri Deepak Gupta focused on the campaign theme “सत्यनिष्ठा से समृद्धि / Probity for Prosperity”. He pointed out that integrity and ethical conduct stand as the base of sustainable growth, organisational excellence and public trust, and urged every GAIL employee to join the effort actively.
The CMD further explained that preventive vigilance exceeds simple compliance. It serves as a strategic, proactive method for reinforcing organisational systems, reducing risks, stopping irregularities and promoting good governance practices.
Over the next three months the campaign will concentrate on five priority areas: Disposal of Complaints, Disposal of cases, Capacity Building Programs, Digital Initiatives and Contract Management. A range of activities, workshops, awareness sessions and employee engagement initiatives will take place at GAIL offices and project sites. These steps aim to root the values of integrity and good governance more firmly within the organisational culture.
With the Preventive Vigilance Campaign 2026, GAIL reaffirms its pledge to probity, transparency and accountability while solidifying the base for lasting growth and organisational excellence.
