SJVN, in collaboration with the Department of Public Enterprises (DPE), has kicked off a comprehensive two-day Orientation Programme focused on enhancing the capabilities of CMDs and Functional Directors of Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSEs) in the serene setting of Dharamshala.
The ceremony commenced under the esteemed presence of Justice Raghvendra Singh Chauhan, Former Chief Justice of Uttarakhand and Telangana High Courts, alongside distinguished figures like Sh. Ajay Kumar Sharma, Director (Personnel) of SJVN, Sh. Anil Khandelwal, Former Chairman & Managing Director of Bank of Baroda, and Sh. Kranti Kumar, Assistant Director at DPE.
The event has drawn participation from twenty-two CMDs and Functional Directors representing various CPSEs. In his welcoming address, Sh. Ajay Kumar Sharma, Director (Personnel) at SJVN, extended a warm greeting to all attendees of the Orientation Programme.
He emphasized the pivotal role of leadership in propelling performance and ushering transformation within Public Sector Enterprises. Stressing the significance of continuous learning and strategic foresight in the contemporary economic and governance milieu, Sh. Sharma highlighted SJVN’s unwavering dedication to capacity building and its proactive stance in fostering synergies among CPSEs for national development.
The Orientation Programme is structured to encompass seven interactive sessions spread across the two days, delving into a diverse array of topics crucial for bolstering the leadership acumen and operational efficiency of CPSEs. With a focus on fostering collaboration, driving innovation, and cultivating a culture of excellence, the event aims to equip participants with the requisite knowledge and tools to navigate the evolving landscape of the public sector domain effectively.
