New Delhi, 24 September 2026: NBCC (India) Limited transferred allotment and sale agreement documents for two Bharat Business Park towers to SBER India in New Delhi on 23 September, advancing a more than ₹2,000 crore deal that supports the foreign bank’s expansion and proposed Russian Business Centre.
The handover took place at NBCC’s corporate headquarters. Dr. K.P. Mahadevaswamy, Chairman and Managing Director, NBCC, gave the documents to Igor Shishkin, Deputy Managing Director, SBER India, in the presence of senior executives from both sides.
The purchase covers approximately 5.17 lakh sq ft of super built-up area at Bharat Business Park in Sarojini Nagar. SBER India won the towers through a competitive e-auction held in April 2026, becoming the project’s largest single buyer.
The deal stands out as one of the largest Indian office-space acquisitions by a foreign bank. It also reflects demand for large commercial assets in Delhi from global institutions and public sector buyers.
SBER India has said it plans to establish a Russian Business Centre in New Delhi. The centre will provide support to Russian companies operating in India through banking, legal, tax and audit services.
NBCC has sold all eight towers at Bharat Business Park. Together, they span about 23.44 lakh sq ft and have generated nearly ₹10,000 crore in sales. The company expects to complete the project in 2028.
Buyers at the project include Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation, Government e-Marketplace, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd., Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd., National Land Monetization Corporation Ltd. and other organisations.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone for Bharat Business Park’s eight towers on 8 March 2026, International Women’s Day. NBCC said the early monetisation of the project, including the SBER India transaction, will support funding for seven GPRA redevelopment projects.
