(By-Z A Ansari) New Delhi: Following the unsuccessful selection of BPCL’s Chairman & Managing Director (CMD), the focus has now shifted to another crucial appointment—the Director (Marketing) position.
According to high-level sources at NewsIP, the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) has received between 45 to 50 applications for this high-profile post. However, only 12 candidates will be shortlisted for the final round.
Industry insiders indicate that the shortlisting process is expected to be completed by next week, after which the final selection will take place. With BPCL being a major player in India’s oil and gas sector, this appointment is expected to have a significant impact on the company’s future marketing strategies.
Experts suggest that the competition for this role is fierce, with several top contenders in the fray. The industry is keenly watching to see who will emerge as the next Director (Marketing) and what strategic direction BPCL will take under their leadership.
