ACC Approves Appointment of Three Senior Officials in Oil & Gas Sector

New Delhi, March 5, 2025: In a significant development for India’s energy sector, the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointment of three senior officials in leading public sector undertakings (PSUs) under the Oil & Gas domain. As per the ACC’s approval, the details of the appointments are as follows:Shri Vikram Saxena has been appointed as Director (Technical) at Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC). Shri Saxena is well-regarded for his extensive experience in the technical field, and his leadership is expected to drive innovation and efficiency in ONGC’s technical operations. • Shri Ruchir Agrawal, a senior official from Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), has been appointed as Director (Finance) at MDSHL. Shri Agrawal is known for his expertise in financial management and is expected to play a key role in strengthening the financial health of the organization. • Shri Mahesh Chandra Gupta, also from IOCL, has been appointed as Director (Finance) at National Fertilizers Limited (NFL). With his vast experience in finance, Mr. Gupta is anticipated to contribute significantly to improving NFL’s financial performance.
