On people’s demand, ‘Sabki Rasoi’ is now active in 33 cities.

New Delhi: In view of the growing demand of food to the people and need of the hour, ‘Sab Ki Rasoi’ has increased its spread from 25 cities to 33 cities across the country, with the purpose of providing meals to migrant workers, daily-wage earners and homeless. Though, initially it was decided to provide 1.5 lakh meals per day, the massive response from the poor on the helpline number (6900869008), has made to increase the target to deliver 1.8 lakh meals per day.

In the past 8 days, around 11.94 lakh meals were provided to the people in Delhi and across 32 other cities in the country. Around 2 Lakh meals were delivered in Delhi (NCR) region till date through this Virtual Kitchen at 70 locations.The initiative which was Kicked-Off on 5th April, aims to provide 15 lakhs freshly cooked meals to the needy, in 10 days (upto April 14).
