New Delhi : The Standing Conference of Public Enterprises (SCOPE) and the Capacity Building Commission (CBC) have launched the pioneering ‘DAKSH’ leadership program, aimed at nurturing a new generation of Public Sector Enterprises (PSE) leaders. The initiative was inaugurated by Shri Arunish Chawla, Secretary of the Department of Investment Promotion and Public Asset Management (DIPAM), in the presence of notable figures including Shri Adil Zainulbhai, Chairman of CBC; Smt. Soma Mondal, Member of the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB); Shri K.P. Mahadevaswamy, Chairman of SCOPE and NBCC; Shri Atul Sobti, Director General of SCOPE; and Dr. Alka Mittal, Member of CBC. The event was also attended by CMDs, Directors of PSEs, senior officials from DPE, CBC, PSEs, and knowledge partners.
The inaugural batch of DAKSH includes 75 high-potential senior executives from various PSEs nationwide, in collaboration with knowledge partners McKinsey & Company and IIM Ahmedabad. The program, conceptualised by SCOPE and CBC, is designed to be delivered in multiple batches with the support of renowned consultants and academicians. Each batch’s learning journey spans 18 months, featuring a comprehensive mix of Individual Development Plans, classroom learning, live projects, coaching, and immersions.
