HEALTH TALK ORGANIZED BY S.B.I. LHO NEW DELHI ON WORLD HEART DAY

New Delhi: On the occasion of World Heart Day on 29^th September 2020, State Bank of India, Local Head office, New Delhi, organized a health talk and an interactive session through Webinar in association with Medanta, The Medicity Hospital, Gurugram. State Bank of India has always been pioneer in taking care of its employees and has been proactive in taking necessary welfare measures for its staff members. The program was inaugurated by Shri Vijuy Ronjan, Chief General Manager, Delhi Circle. In his keynote address, Shri Ronjan highlighted the importance of taking care of one’s health while balancing the work and life. He motivated the staff members to inculcate a healthy lifestyle. Renowned Cardiologist and recipient of Padma Shree and Padma Bhushan award Dr Naresh Trehan addressed the webinar enlightened the audiences on the importance healthy diet, following fitness routine, maintaining nutrition and boosting mental health. Dr Trehan highlighted the importance of enhanced care for heart and staying physically and mentally active during the tough times of COVID—19 pandemic. He also clarified many doubts which were raised during the session. The webinar was highly appreciated by all the staff members present A competition for the staff members to display their fitness matra via short videos was also organized and its results were declared by CGM sir in the end of the session.
