Hyderabad — October 8, 2026 | By NewsIP Bureau : NMDC Limited’s Vigilance Department concluded a two-day capacity-building programme on October 8, 2026, focusing on ethical public procurement, GeM tools, contract design, and cyber hygiene in alignment with Central Vigilance Commission guidelines for Vigilance Awareness Week 2026.

Held on October 7 and 8 at Hyderabad, the workshop featured thematic expert sessions addressing transparency, efficiency, and preventive vigilance across operational processes. Key discussions were led by senior officials and experts, including Shri Sanjay Aggarwal from RCF-Kapurthala, Shri Anuj Kumar from GeM, Shri Ankur Shrivastava from NRSC, and Smt. K. The inaugural and concluding sessions were graced by senior management figures, including Director (Personnel) Shri Krishna Kumar Thakur, Chief Vigilance Officer Shri C. Neelakanta Reddy, and Director (Commercial) Shri Vivek Nishant Nath.

They underscored the critical importance of continuous capacity building, ethical conduct, robust system design, and accountability within public sector undertakings. Nominated executives from NMDC’s head office and various project sites participated in the interactive programme.

The initiative reinforces NMDC’s ongoing commitment to good governance, institutional capability enhancement, and procedural compliance under Vigilance Awareness Week 2026 objectives.
