NHPC organized plantation programme under “Swachhta Pakhwada-2022”

NHPC organized a plantation programme in front of green belt near NHPC Residential Complex, Surajkund Faridabad under “Swachhta Pakhwada-2022” on 24^th May 2022. The programme was inaugurated with the planting of Peepal sapling by Shri A.K. Singh, CMD, NHPC. Shri R.P. Goyal, Director (Finance), Shri Biswajit Basu, Director (Projects) and other senior officers and employees also planted saplings during the programme. A total of 100 saplings including Neem, Peepal, Banyan, Royal Poinciana, Black Plum, Stone Apple, Golden Shower tree, Jacaranda, Jackfruit and White fig were planted during the programme. NHPC is observing Swachhta Pakhwada-2022 from 15^th May to 31^st May 2022 across all its Power Stations, Projects and Offices. NHPC is organizing various programmes related to cleanliness/ hygiene like free medical camps, distribution of dustbins and sanitary pads, Swachhta Awareness rally and lectures in schools etc. are being organized during Swachhta Pakhwada-2022.
